Frequently Asked Questions
We are open to virtual or in-person consultation according to what will best serve your needs. If we meet in person, the space we meet in is private and close to nature. We will discuss what type of support you are seeking, what you hope to gain from our support and how to best proceed. Rather than following a traditional talk therapy or bodywork model, this process is entirely customized to your unique needs.
Yes. Playing with Power, Inc. is a nonprofit dedicated to offering accessible services based on our available funding. Our sliding scale is made possible by those who pay full price, which helps offset costs for others in the community. All clients receive the identical respect, care, and attention regardless of their financial contribution.
Absolutely not. Your comfort and safety are the foundation of this work. Somatic advocacy focuses on your body-mind connection and can be practiced entirely without physical contact to fully support your healing journey.
Everything you share with us is held in strict confidence so you can focus fully on your healing. We maintain these high ethical standards at all times.
